Book of the Month:

Each month a new book that goes along with our lessons is introduced to the children.  Everyone gets a copy of the book.  We read together and turn the pages together each day with all of the children, including infants.  This increases print awareness.  It also helps with learning reading from left to right, learning about what the author & illustrator do, learning what the cover, title page and dedication page are and of course, simply learning to turn one page at a time.

At the end of the month, the kids get to take home their books to keep thereby building up the children's home library and connecting our lessons with families.
Sign Language:

Each day we work on our sign-language skills.  We speak as we sign.

Large group:  We work on our signs for letters, colors, shapes, days of the week, and household words.

Small groups:  We work on spelling our names and reviewing what we have learned.
Preschool and Pre-K Classes:    Preschool is held from 11:30-1:00 with a rest time from 1:00-2:30.
Pre-K Class is held from 11:30-2:00 with a rest time from 2:30-3:00.

Our whole day program is educational in all areas.  The additional Preschool and Pre-K Group Classes are by invitation only and are provided when children are ready.  The Preschool and Pre-K Groups focus on skills specific to Kindergarten Readiness and integrate daily lessons as well as additional learning activities.
