Our Staff..
Each child is unique and each child's needs are unique. As your child's teachers we will be flexible to help meet your child's needs. We will strive to provide them with the best possible learning environment. Allowing us to care for your child is an enormous trust which we take very seriously. Rest assured that your child will be cared for, loved, and will be taught in a developmentally appropriate manner.
Grandma Leona has been helping since Ladybugs and Bumblebees opened in 2010. She is Janet & Amanda's mom and Racquel's Grandma. The children all call her Grandma. The kids love to sit on Grandma's lap, ask her questions, and tell her lots of stories. Grandma works part-time and opens up our program for the day and helps with just about everything at one point or another.
Grandma has four adult daughters.
Janet is the owner of Ladybugs and Bumblebees Education Station. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Science. Janet has been working in the early childhood field for over 20 years. She has worked in administrative roles, has supervised and taught in a large infant program in a state-licensed child care facility, and has directed a registered ministry child care program. Through it all Janet has found that direct interaction, care, and the teaching of young children is where her heart is. She likes to challenge children to get out of their comfort zones and try new things, to get messy and have fun while learning.

Mrs. Amanda has been with L.B.E.S. is Janet's sister, Grandma's daughter and Racquel's aunt.. She has three children Steven, Mia, and Delayna.
She is currently on Medical Leave.
Ms. Racquel (or Ms. Kel as the kids call her) has been with us for several years. She has a little girl named Millie who loves to come see her friends at L.B.E.S.
Ms. Racquel is Janet & Amanda's niece and Grandma's granddaughter.
